Action, not just words. Building a stronger Lockport for everyone.
My name is Lucia (Lucy) Cavaiuolo-Wronski, and I am a proud first-generation American. My parents and brothers immigrated from Italy to the United States in 1960. Raised by my Italian-American parents, I learned the values of kindness, love, acceptance, honesty, and, above all, the importance of family.
I've proudly called the Town of Lockport home since 1989. As a Social Worker, I have developed keen listening skills. I'm committed to hearing the people's voice, gathering their input, and encouraging their involvement.
Family is the cornerstone of my life—not just my own, but the extended family we share within our community. Every individual and every family deserves to be treated with respect, supported in their needs, and provided the resources to thrive.
Together, we can create a Lockport that works for all of us.
I'm running for office because I care deeply about our community and believe in action—not just words.
Many residents experience poor or unreliable cell service. This isn't just an inconvenience—it's a safety and connectivity issue. I'll advocate for the installation of additional towers to improve coverage town-wide.
Temporary paving fixes are costing us more in the long run. We deserve durable, long-lasting repairs. I will push for responsible infrastructure planning that provides better value for taxpayers.
With more people contributing to the tax base, we should be able to stabilize—or even reduce—taxes for existing homeowners. I'll fight for tax policies that make sense.
We must preserve what makes Lockport special—our open fields, nature parks, and wildlife. I'll work to balance development with conservation so we don't lose the natural beauty that brought many of us here.
I envision a community space that offers tutoring, recreational activities, and nutritional support—a place where kids can thrive. This long-term project will require collaboration and volunteers, and I'm ready to lead that effort.
Lockport's population is becoming more diverse, especially with more Spanish-speaking families. I want to help bridge the gap—offering ESL support, promoting inclusion, and building stronger community connections.
Family is the cornerstone of my life—not just my own, but the extended family we share within our community. Every individual deserves respect, support, and resources to thrive.
Every worker should have the freedom to organize and advocate for fair treatment, safe working conditions, and a voice in the workplace without fear of retaliation.
I strongly support expanding the use of clean energy—not only for municipal properties, but also for residents. Moving toward sustainable, cost-effective energy solutions.
